... I used rainex on a car i had many years ago and found that when you stopped applying it you had problems, I stopped using it...

The plan must be to dump as much energy as possible and then concentrate on survival ... though apart from that i suppose there can't be much advice as every crash is bound to be different.

I suppose it comes down to what chocks are supposed to do, stop an aircraft if the parking brake has failed or is not fully operative.
Probably not designed to halt an aircraft with N engines...
