All the bmi engineering personnel at LHR have transferred over to BA. The bmi hangar is being rebranded to BA but no one is 100% certain what will become of it. It might just be a casualty hangar....

There's no final decision on the bmi hangar (now known as TBD) but they are in the process of putting up the BA logo. It will probably continue to be used up until Christmas and then might be closed...

Can't answer if they are free or not (wouldn't have thought so) but bmi keep all the covers and blanks on each aircraft and I'd have thought that most other airlines that used them would also keep...
