bmi G-MIDZ in SNN, why?
bmi A320 G-MIDZ was ferried LHR-SNN on the 16th November. It isn't due back until somtime in late December. Anyone know if it's just for routine maintenance or could we be seeing it in a fresh coat of paint soon?
I know what U think, bmi paint a plane?! Well I can but hope!

So MIDZ has left the BMI fleet? Thats a shame, always liked seeing her in the old colours (well, interim)
I didnt realise bmi were getting rid of some A320's. I thought only A321's were returning to lessor.

The comments earlier were correct. G-MIDZ has operated its last passenger flight for bmi. Once its maint check in SNN is complete it is due to be ferried SNN-EMA on 19Dec. Once it has been repainted it will be handed back to the lease company and onward to its new operator by 24Jan.
G-MIDZ used to be owned by bmi, however it was sold and leased back several years ago.

Very old? I thought BMI A320's were only about 10yrs old?
Yeah, i've seen the new A321 a few times.
Does this mean that all the A320's are up for replacement soon?
