...but that can't help because you lose wind readings on the ND's and overhead panel after touch down. You sure you got that right? Also it's your ground speed you should be looking at not wind...

23L or O5R for landing, all or both ILS been off the air for months, check your NOTAMS. Also VOR off the air, probably do the NDB app. have radar but will not give you vectors at all, military thing....

Average beam width is 3 degrees. 1.5 up and 1.5 down.
It's on aircraft attitude. So if you set zero it still reads 1.5degrees up if your aircraft pitch is zero.

I'm confused with how the loop system works when a loop breaks giving a fault indication but yet once you select said loop off or both loops off the detection system still works..what am i missing....

as far as i know it's a military radar signal....

as far as i know it's a military radar signal. the weather radar picks these up or so i'm told. flying over iraq you get them frequently, its NOTAM'd to have your weather radar on at all times flying...
