How to delete hidden files?

I have apparently deleted all files on a D drive partition which along with a C drive partition makes up my hard disk, but when I look at the D drive properties, it shows there are some 40 Go still...

Correct info here

The main wheels are on hard ground but the nose wheels are on soft ground and buried for about two third. The NLG did not collapse.
