I too have filled out the form well before xmas but haven't been charged the £50 yet.
I've been in touch with BALPA about this but they are more difficult to get an answer out of, than bloody Ryanair.
I think that if they don't take the money I'll stay away, if they do, I'll demand it back.!!!

It would be interesting to find out just how many people have actually got an interview at all??

Our time will come again I promise us that much!

Cool

Why dont we all kitty our money and send an application from 'super pilot'. Super Pilot has thousands of hours and more pic 737 time than you can poke a stick at. He's all that and a bag of chips. For arguments sake lets make him Irish. Me thinks 'super pilot' shall not get a call as he's not 'connected'. HINT HINT. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

I sent my application just after they deleted the old database. It took just over three weeks before I received my confirmation and a withdrawal from my bankaccount. Got an interview and a simtest. Now, I´ve started a new job. Guess where.! Want to add that I was 737 rated.
Good luck to ya all.

Well guys guess I am very lucky. I also paid 50 pds for the application only to be called about 8 days later if I would be interested in a sim session 5 days later.
As I had a flightsafety course with my present airline I wasn't able to make it. The gentleman on the phone sounded irritated that I wasn't willing to cancel it for my proposed sim session with Ryan. Prosponing the simcheck wasn't possible.

Well sorry I am not the type who ****s over his present employer when changing jobs. I would imagine Ryan would appreciate a little professional courtesy and good conduct of a future employee to his airline. I guess not!!:-(

Well as I found out later the pay for F/O's sucks anyways. But still would have liked to give Ryan a GO;-)

By the way I am typerated 737, had been flying 737-700. Now flying the 400 and 800.
And have "only" 400 hrs on type and 800TT.

Good luck guys.
