Ah, there we go, wander down to the pub with the lads to comiserate over the loss of my job, only to come back and find all kinds of rogues making micschief.

SO EXTANKERMAN, hows the old Freight business treating you. Glad to see the fact that you took BWA for a 737 course then pi**ed off double quick without paying your bond still leaves you with such an intense interset in the well being of your former colleagues. Stop Sh*t stirring.

Now, I've spent some time in the old office of BWA lately, worrying about how I was going to manage in old and cold ABZ. Here's a few things of note.

I understand that since September 11th we have operated one (count them up, boys , 1) sub-charter. Not one per day or even 1 per week, nope just 1. We have three 737'3 sitting on the ground for weeks ( almost like the old ATP guys eh).

And the ATP's have been doing nothing since we came back from Las Palmas ( apart from our Northern Brethern of course, bless their warm thermal socks).

So to me, that looks like LOTS of money going out..and LITTLE money coming in.. doesn't look too good eh?

Now, along comes our friends from NJI, dropping a half million debt on the books. Our friendly BAA man takes fright and ends up grounding half the bloody fleet ( there goes the customer confidence). And yesterday, as if on cue, our ever so friendly BAE people pull the plug on two ATP leases ( pure co-incidence that they owed us £340,000 , that they didn't want to pay).

And what does this all add up to....we're broke, we have little or no work, our customers are abandoning us in droves because they ain't sure we're going to be able to carry their pax ( hard to make them believe otherwise with an aircraft impounded)......and we go Bust.

So, all you wonderful conspiracy theorists out there...get a life. We gave them a good run for their money, every Winter for as long as I've been with BWA we 've struggled like hell to make it to April. This year it caught up with us.

I've had a great time with the BWA brigade. I thought the new team this year would really pull it off.......but circumstances, and maybe some crap decisions of their predecessors caught up with us ( Who's wonderful idea was it to get wrapped up in NJI, by the way?).

So to my colleagues all, Thanks for the memories. We can at least say we survived the Sabena's, Swissair's, Air Europe,s of this world. And we did it with fun.

Edited for overconsuption of Abbots

Clematis , my dear.

You seem very bitter and twisted, not like you.

Your "allegations", I would suggest are sailing fairly close the old Northerly Breeze whistling around your nethers. Wouldn't like to see you defend such "allegations " in court.

Any proof...or just looking for someone to blame.

Tell you what, why not let's get totogether down the Old Cherry Tree, and I'll help take your mind of it

Oh Clematis Darling, never thought you cared. I saw the fax, and polished off my CV double quick. But didn't see anything of:-
One of our bosses started giving business away to other airlines and warding off any new business going to BWA, by implying it could be touch and go that there will be any BWA soon,BUT he is a director of this new company which is touting for work
You must have read a different fax to me. Or are you keeping a supply of Mills and Boom Fiction under that lovely desk of yours.

And I think old EXTANKERMAN will grab us a beer or two, he always had a soft spot for you

Edited because I really must not post on here after a skinful

Oh,
and if we're going to have conspiracy stuff to think about, how come an NJI 146 pilot was asked 2 weeks ago if he was interested in flying a 146 out of Aberdeen to Scatsa on an Oil contract, and lo and behold, this morning there are 146's operating ABZ to Scatsa.

Maybe our neighbours downstairs were plotting our downfall all along.

Wonder if Elvis still works down the chip shop.

Ahh, customers being told today "dont use BWA they might go Bust"....and the we go bust.

but I still don't get:-

One of our bosses started giving business away to other airlines and warding off any new business going to BWA, by implying it could be touch and go that there will be any BWA soon,
from that as most of our competitors would (and probably have) said as much for the last month. I had a phone call from a friend in Brymon two weeks ago, concerned that I had lost my job, because he had heard it from some of their senior people that we had gone under.

I just don't understand why all you guys want to blame one guy for our downfall, when he was the guy getting us all the work next year, and most of the work last year.

Unless of the course, the Teflon King is putting this around

I really should go to bed, but this is just too much fun, and I don't have to be up early tomorrow (no calls from crewing likely)...

Holt CJ ( Oh Master Conspiracy Plotter)answer me this:-

As you can access all of this stuff, has any of the directors who resigned between 7 Aug 2000 2000 and 12 Jan 2001 been named as being part of Astraeus.

Did any of the named Directors of Astraeus work for BWA at the time of company registration?

All I read form your post is that Astreaus had less movement of directors than BWA had. I don't see any relation between the two....and if a certain BWA employee is involved, how come he wasn't working for BWA when Astreaus was registered.

It,s a bit like saying:-

On 7 August 2000, I lost my Black pen and my favourite key ring

On 12 October 2000, the MD of the manufacturers of my favourite pens resigned

on 13 January 2001, I lost another black pen (these ATP cockpits are a bastard for that)

On 17 January 2001 ( thats 5 days after I lost my last pen), A new manufacturer of pens was launched ( they look nice, might get one). They have an office somewhere.

On 1 February 2001, this new company get a new boss ( not sure why I'm interested at this stage, but I still fancy one of their pens)

on 12 February 2001, this new pen company get a new boss and new secretary ( they look nice in the photo..I relly must try their pens)

On 23 February, I lost another pen ( the turbulence in winter in ABZ is Awful)

On 4th October 2001, the new pen company have moved offices ( I've bought one of their pens, not as good as the look)

On 10 December I lost my new pen ( bummer)

Hmmm...I sense a conspiracy ...are pen manufacturers trying to sabotage my aircraft

The Southend King

Please explain to me why you find it nescassary to assume that your Neighbours downstairs have plotted your downfall.

As a matter of record there is only one ex NJI pilot lucky enough to be employed by your said neighbours and you know you did not speak to him. It is one thing to make up stories that make you feel important but it is quite another when your comments affect the lives and reputations of innocent people...Tread carefully..very carefully.

Crashdive

I apologise if I have breached PruNe rules by publishing a company’s listed office address. Please accept in mitigation that I had no idea it was a private residence as you suggest. My assumption was that, since a registered office address, it was precisely that and no more. :o

The Southend King

Having dozed off for a while, then woken, I have tiptoed downstairs for a glass of milk and a biscuit. Couldn’t keep myself from taking a peek at PruNe and found your many posts on this thread.

Reluctant as I am to respond to obvious mischief-making, I nonetheless offer you the following food for thought:

Conspiracy theory is fundamentally flawed. However, understanding the vagaries of human nature is a practised art. And when one has practised this art long enough, one becomes endowed with an ability to smell the proverbial rat at a considerable distance.

Let me repeat my earlier assertion that I do not suggest anything untoward or illegal has transpired here. However, if current evidence pointed to skulduggery, I would be among the first to come right out and say so. Such is my nature.

I am not satisfied that BWA’s demise was in any way inevitable. And I am puzzled by its activities over the past year or so. The ‘Recent Filing History’ of the company provides some clues, in that it points to considerable recent turmoil. When BOTFOJ posted the name of Astraeus, I made a comparison between Companies House filings on BWA and Astraeus and established the series of events posted earlier.

Make of it what you will. You are free to draw whatever inference you wish, including the puerile scenario you depict. It is a question of credibility. It is for others to decide whether your ‘black pen and key ring’ theory holds water.

My own instincts are that we have here a classic case of the Rattus Rattus. As always, the truth will out in time.

Without wishing to offer too much offence, I would have some difficulty placing credence upon the words of a self-proclaimed ‘King’ whose interests encompass nothing more than ‘occasionally flying aircraft’. And anyone using NTL for Internet access is surely deficient in at least one important sense.

It seems to me that you are altogether too flippant with respect to your loss of employment. You would not be basking in the glorious certainty that you will soon be re-employed by another company named above, would you?
