Hey AC
Highest in a JetBanger was 17,440' but it was 16C so was t4'd out & could not pick the Patient, so the Sherpa Guides carried him down to a lower pinnacle at 16,400' whilst I waited at base-camp. From where I could dive off to escape with him :8 Not the composite tail-rotor blades hmmmm that would be good, there good on the 47 :ok: Land Happy always ;) VF |
Over 17,000' - I am impressed. You must have a delicate touch on the pedals.
Best i ever got in a chopper was 17000' in a Huey in PNG, and the speed range was 30kt fall from the sky to 60kt Vne. We were never allowed to attempt a landing above 10,000'.:sad: |
