206 fixed floats
Has anybody got a pic of a 206b on fixed floats, preferably from the side on?
|
Magnificent work Autorotate! Thanks for posting. Makes this former Huey pilot tear up a bit....any chance we will see more in print in the near future?
HH |
Autorotate: I've got a question about the 4th and 5th pictures down from the top. On my monitor, the sky looks a very deep blue. Did you use a polarizing filter? Or play with it in Photoshop? Or is it just that my monitor's color balance is off?
Jared |
OFBSLF - No polarizing filter. These were taken about 4pm in the afternoon and colours are always richer earlier in the morning or later in the day. Some are brighter than others as we had cloud cover coming and going all day.
Regards Autorotate. |
206 fixed floats Has anybody got a pic of a 206b on fixed floats, preferably from the side on? http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/...d/b06c4832.jpg These are the only ones that I could find. Taken in Iqaluit, Canada. There are a few more in my collection, I'll see what I can do... These are not my photos, although I do have a few hours on AJR. RH |
Thanks CR. I've got about 1000 hours on "bags" and do ya think I can find a pic of just one heli on fixed floats. They were great. You can literally land anywhere on anything...as long as you had a patch kit and a set of the proper sized spanners.
Thanks again. |
Here are six for now.
Can I change my mind and my pics before the closing date ?, might have a few things to shoot yet before the closing date. http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/...CAOUsmall2.jpg http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/...v03smaller.jpg http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/...30CE_small.jpg http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/...012smaller.jpg http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/...iftsmaller.jpg http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/...-i/smaller.jpg :ok: |

This may be our problem. |
Talking of "bags", I got these baggers departing Culdrose yesterday: 30 minutes after I gave up & went for a cream tea, the Mighty Merlin finally got airborne, but it didn't run over Gweek for me to get a photo ;)
