Description
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is a not-for-profit organisation providing world class aeromedical, search and rescue services, free of charge to those in need 24/7. The Service has more than 40 years of proud history, and now operates from three bases in NSW (Tamworth, Belmont, Lismore) in addition to a Head Office and aircraft maintenance facility based in Broadmeadow NSW.

The Service is seeking to recruit an Aircrew Officer to initially work out of its Belmont base with an opportunity to tour. In this role you will efficiently conduct helicopter aeromedical and search and rescue operations, conduct all operations to the highest standards of safety and professionalism, and actively communicate with supervisors and other helicopter aircrew on a regular basis.

Key position accountabilities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Respond to all (real or simulated) emergencies and conduct helicopter aeromedical and search and rescue operations.
Operate aircraft communications and hoist equipment.
Complete pre-shift inspections of aircraft and equipment. Perform cleaning and refuelling of aircraft.
Evaluate and report on events, including identification of opportunities for improvement.
Actively participate in the company’s ground training program.
Maintain a high standard of radio communication procedures in accordance with CASA Radio Operators Certificate. Provide timely communication within the Operations department and to other departments if/when required.
Utilise the principles of aircrew resource management including proactive fostering of a neutral cockpit gradient and participation in aircrew discussions during planning, execution and debriefing of all missions to ensure lessons learnt from planning through to execution are openly shared.
Demonstrate and uphold exceptional safety standards including flight environment monitoring, Fatigue Management Systems and DAMP regulations.
Actively participate in a positive manner in community events when available.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

500 Hours Helicopter Aircrew
Completion of Aircrew IFR Theory
Senior First Aid
Advanced Resuscitation Certificate
Down the wire training
HUET Certificate
CRM training and sound computer knowledge
Communications and Radio procedures
Minimum Rescue Aircrew qualification
Helicopter SAR/EMS experience preferred.
The following criteria will be highly regarded:

Completion of practical exam IFR procedures
Dangerous Goods training certificate
Leadership training
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
NVG qualified
Winch endorsed.
You must be an Australian resident, be over 18 years old at time of selection, hold a current driver’s licence and be prepared to complete a Working with Children Check, Police Check, a pre-employment medical and a personality profile online.

The Service is seeking to recruit an experienced AW139 Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to carry out all required duties to ensure contracted company aircraft are serviceable. This role is based at Broadmeadow, at the Deep Level Maintenance facility and will report to the Senior Base Engineer.

Key position accountabilities and responsibilities are:

Carry out aircraft scheduled maintenance, regular deterioration monitoring and preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with approved company manuals and documentation
Troubleshoot and rectify any unscheduled maintenance events or defects
Carry out aircraft modifications or major repairs
Maintain a high focus and level of effort to ensure the Engineering department is achieving the required base aircraft availability target
Maintain base ground support equipment, tooling and aircraft maintenance related facilities.
To be considered for this rare opportunity you are required to meet one of the following backgrounds:

A minimum of 5 years LAME (B1) experience with strong AW139 Mechanical (B1) product knowledge by way of OEM training and have a minimum of 3 years working on type experience, having recent heavy maintenance experience

OR

Be currently working on type in a Senior AME (B1) position with a minimum of 5 years' experience working on type, including sheet metal fabrication and paint removal and application. The candidate shall have the CASA basic licence examinations completed.
All candidates will be required to have working knowledge and experience with Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR) & Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR) and be able to provide supporting Airworthiness documents.

This role is a permanent position working Monday to Friday from the Deep Level Maintenance Base at Broadmeadow. You are required to live within a one-hour drive of the Base and will be required at times to provide coverage at the other bases contingent on operational requirements. Was erwartet Sie bei uns?

Die ZPD als zentrale Dienstleisterin für die Polizei Niedersachsen bildet die Grundlage für die erfolgreiche Arbeit der Polizeibehörden. Wir leisten landesweit Service- und Unterstützungsaufgaben für die gesamte niedersächsische Polizei. Die PHuStN unterstützt die Polizeidienststellen durch mit technischem Equipment ausgestattete Polizeihubschrauber (PHS) bedarfsorientiert bei deren Aufgabenwahrnehmung (z.B. Fahndungen, Personensuchen etc.). In diesem Rahmen ist die CAMO (EASA Part-M) dafür zuständig, dass die eingesetzten PHS lufttüchtig betrieben werden. Der/die Leiter/-in CAMO verantwortet dabei die reibungslose und gesetzeskonforme Durchführung der anfallenden Aufgaben in seinem/ihrem Zuständigkeitsbereich und übt die Fachaufsicht über die Mitarbeiter/-innen der CAMO sowie des Airworthiness Review Staff aus.

Zu den wesentlichen Aufgaben des zu besetzenden Arbeitsplatzes gehören die:
  • Selbstständige Sicherstellung/Überwachung der Lufttüchtigkeit der PHS,
  • Überwachung und Fortschreibung der Instandhaltungsprogramme der PHS,
  • Erstellung der Workorder für fremdvergebene Instandhaltung,
  • Erstellung des Zuverlässigkeitsprogramms,
  • Meldung und Untersuchung von meldepflichtigen Ereignissen in Zusammenarbeit mit der Leitung Qualitätsmanagement der PHuStN,
  • Bedarfs- u. Kostenanalyse unter Beachtung der einschlägigen haushaltsrechtlichen Vorgaben und organisatorische Umsetzung aller relevanten Anweisungen der europäischen bzw. der nationalen Luftfahrtbehörde.
Welche Voraussetzungen müssen Sie mitbringen?

Für eine erfolgreiche Bewerbung benötigen Sie zwingend:
  • Langjährige Berufserfahrung (mindestens 5 Jahre) in einem luftfahrttechnischen Betrieb/Luftfahrzeugwartung. Davon 2 Jahre Erfahrung in der Aufrechterhaltung der Luft-tüchtigkeit von Luftfahrzeugen, Teilen und deren Ausrüstung (CAMO),
  • Ein abgeschlossenes luftfahrtbezogenes Hochschulstudium, alternativ die Lizenz für „Freigabeberechtigtes Personal für Luftfahrzeuge / Kat. C" (diese Voraussetzung kann ersetzt werden durch zusätzliche 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung innerhalb einer CAMO),
  • Fließende Sprachkenntnisse Englisch in Wort und Schrift.

Wünschenswert sind zudem nachweisbare Kenntnisse im Bereich des Luftverkehrsrechts und der relevanten europäischen und nationalen luftfahrtrechtlichen Vorschriften sowie ein sehr gutes technischen Verständnis. Erfahrungen in der Instandhaltung von Hubschraubern sind von Vorteil. Sie sollten zudem eine teamorientierte und verantwortungsbewusste Persönlichkeit sein und die Bereitschaft zeigen, in einem kleinen Team bei Bedarf auch aufgabenfremde Arbeiten zu übernehmen.

B407/B212/B412 Long-line Pilots Required

There seem to be a few new opening for on shore flying in the UK. But I don’t see many new jobs advertised for offshore flying in Aberdeen on mediums or heavy helis.
