Looks nice, but slinging a 2 ton special effects truss over populated areas seems not to be the smartest thing to do.

I don't think being hit by a fallen meteor is possible as a meteorite has already fallen.

Article says along Hudson river so in unlikely event they needed to jettison the "load" the FAA stipulated as long they didn't hit Sully's plane, they were happy.

Dollars to donuts it was never over Manhattan. Come to think of it, I don't know of any longline work done over Manhattan in recent memory.
