May depend on what you want to do with the winner. Fly a lot, tour, or own and operate a "classic car"?
I heard a stat on the A2 of 1hr flying = 5hrs maintenance which might give you a clue on costs.

I always remember a friend of mine saying "I won't hear a bad word said about the S76, the overtime is paying my mortgage"!!!!!
I somehow doubt that the S76 will ever be cheap to operate. Anything with twin engines costs and labour isn't cheap. Really down to how deep your pockets are.
There will no doubt be some cheap(ish) Lama's on the market in the next few years.
If I could afford one I would. Very reliable.
Some 47 parts are hard to find or very expensive or both.

F28, why not try a couple out for the cost of a trial flight. There are marginally more 47s to do this on in the UK, or even have a weekend away in Europe where they may be more lama to do so.

Al2 ?
Why lama ? Alouette 2, either 313b or 318 form, a lighter weight lower cost option
Maint not as rumoured, most parts make tbo, annual maintenance and 50hr/ 6 month check
Al2 313b now annex 2 so maint regs slightly easier
Pay 80k for 313, may 120k for 318c both in nice nick with say >700 hrs to Tbo on main parts
