Looks like hydraulics or tailrotor control failure. Maybe a hyd-off training gone wrong?
Anytime he lowers the collective to try to land the spinning stops and when adding collective spinning increases. Really looks like a controls problem.

Looks to me very like jammed t/r rather than hydraulics out - whether real or an over-realistic simulation its impossible to say but the blurb says three occupants and doing take off and landing "tests", an unusual crew config for post maint flight test but possibly an instructor and two studes.

TR malfunction. Here is how it should have been handled, (and I admit that every case is slightly different). If you have the opportunity, I suggest flying with Glen.....I fly with him every year for recurrent training.
