As mentioned earlier VF, does a flight around Sagarmatha mean you go into China/Tibet? Does a rescue situation on the border allow you to cross into Nepals neighbours without the red tape?
Is the Chinese border there policed? Do they care?

We have an agreement with the US along the Alaskan border here like that.

I've said this before, but my morning routine consists of 1) coffee, 2) check for photos from VF!

Enjoy the photos of the colourful locals. The kids makes me think, our kids don't know how easy they have it. But the remarkable thing about human nature is that most kids seem to have a good outlook on life no matter what their environment, as long as their parents and community do as well.

Don't forget on those pee stops to land into the wind and pee downwind, not the other way round!

Angel Coffee time

G'day nuthin

No we can not fly into Tibet, though due weather or during take-off or landing, flying between mountains small incursions may occur Never can a Rescue be done from Nepal into Tibet (not legal) without massive red tape & to my knowledge it has never happened (yet) Yes the border where practicable is patrolled & I am sure they would care if we violated International borders between us

Namaste krypton_john

hehehe thanks for Your kind, humbling words hmmmm I think the kids here are happier; simple foods, no internet, no violent video games, no Xbox...You know what I mean - clean simple traditional living, these kids actually play outside in all weather & know how to kick a ball

Cheers to Life

VF brother Namaste

What part of the business at Fishtail do you think is VIP transport like ministers and government people? Just wondering as I see a Fishtail chopper transporting the Vice Prime Minister?

It was his party related event but wouldnt that task of transporting the vice PM fall under the Nepal Army??

How come a B111 can work as an air ambulance? Seems like it would be a tight squeeze to fit your average Norwegian or Aussie across the back seat row. Do you have problems fitting in non-local climbers who run into trouble? Love the thread.

Angel

Good morning gcpilot8

Sorry no clue as to a percentage but, very less VIP transport is done by us. Senior Ministers & the Prime Minister is flown around by the Nepali Army

Glad Your enjoying this thread Not sure what a B111 is? If You are referring to the B206 then yep, she is a tight squeeze, but haven't had a problem yet in over 20 years of operating JetBox's

Happy Landings always
