Did DennisK not do a trip with Jordan/Katie Price in a 480 a while back?

TiP
I think a lot of people did not do a trip with Jordan/Katie Price in a 480 a while back. I know I didn't.

Sorry I couldn't resist.

I thought JTobias was the resident celebrity pilot, or is that only for "charitable causes" ?

Thanks Birdog

I am the resident celebrity pilot, it goes hand in hand with my suave sophistication, good looks, unique charm and my expert piloting skills. It also helps to have a very large, shiny chopper that sees plenty of action.

I'm also fortunate enough to own a helicopter!

As for my choice of worthy causes it usually has less to do with charity (although I do consider myself to be very charitable) and more to do with their personal assets. And I'm not talking financial!!

Regrettably on this occasion I didn't get the opportunity to do Geri Halliwell although I would be very happy too. In more ways than one!

Joel
Celebrity pilot extraordinaire to the stars.

P.S. If you check my blog in a few days you will be able to read about my encounter with Sting!!!! www.jetbox.wordpress.com

Psssttt...

I've been in the left hand seat whilst Geri's been driving her RRover... Fixed wing might be a better place to start.

And yes, I do know what I am talking about. I do fly helicopters besides having been a mega-yacht captain. Look up my name on Facebook or Google me.
- Capt. Colin Cameron-Tough, Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA
Was anyone else sad / bored enough like me ( ) to actually Google this guy ?

If not - don't bother - it would be far more entertaining poking yourself in the eye with a blunt instrument -

Basically it's to get you to read his fascinating ( not ) web site / advert - where he goes under the pseudonym of the "Nauti Chef" - who seems to have no friends to ride on his boat with him, so he tries to entice people to pay for the pleasure of a ride ( in the nautical sense ) while he cooks them one of his fine recipes - All of which can be found in his very own cookery book which you can buy for just ..........

How about reading this crap from his website, what a dickweed.

So, who is creating all this? I.e. this web-site. Just me. No hordes of imbeciles who never learnt anything at school or college or university, or about the world. I create this on my own and faster than hordes of people supposedly knowing what they are doing. I’m referring to the daft media.

There are lots of over educated, but useless, imbeciles. I can name many but I will refrain from here. As that wonderful gentleman, Ray Kroc, the founder of MacDonalds, also stated similarly - “Wisdom - The Secret of Success” - Nothing in this world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not: unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and Determination alone are Omnipotent”.

But then. I’m smart. Well, I think so. I utilize the world’s best computer and its systems available - namely Apple Mac. (See the review of the 15” and 17” MacBook Pro laptops below).

I’ve used Mac since it evolved. I’ve used PC’s too. But I hate the ghastly Dirty Windows and Explorer. I prefer to go on Safari. I also hate glossy reflective screens. They’re naff.

If my grammar - at times - is incorrect, then, sorry - but I am not perfect.

I still got an A in GCE English O-Level and I managed to publish and edit the very first and respected magazine (world wide) in English, French and German languages on the subject of remote (radio) controlled and full-size helicopters for ten years. (See my Blog).

One born every day

Good Grief! Obviously a special kind of self obsessed muppet!

I actually started my flight training in H500 (Redhill), cos the R22 didn't come in big enough size to strap around my waist , plus instructor would have to instruct via radio.

Only requirement Capt. CCT, (for JAA) is 35 hrs on the same type you are testing on (single engine turbine or piston). For FAA, training on all types counts to your TT time.

YEP ! - He certainly has a talent for making himself look a right nob

... the earlier bit I mentioned - about him having no friends to play with him on his boat is not strictly accurate though - according to his Facebook profile ( which he wants you to look at ) he HAS got some friends

7 of them in fact

Hmm, I'm starting to like this guy...

In my neck of the woods we would call him "a bit of a wedge" i.e. the simplest tool known to man?

The Katie Price & Peter flying.

Hi all ... Katie Price and ex husband Peter both took lessons in an Enstrom at Goodwood. Not a 480 tho' ... I used Enstrom 28A G-BBPO. (and no comments about the strapping in process- C of G etc! ...)

PS. Both quite nice guys!

My only celeb story is that a few years ago I flew Pat Jennings into Muswell Hill Golf course for a charity appearance (him not me).
He had the biggest hands I have ever seen, big bloke too. I was left with the lasting impression that he could have picked me up by the head.
No wonder he was a top-notch goalie. I always though it was just the "goalie gloves" that makes a goalies hands look big.
Have to say he was a really nice bloke and quite shy.
