Has anyone started to do aerial photography/filming with the G2? My experience with 2 seat Heles (mainly the R22) was that they were not really suitable/good for this role. The G2 could be different..

I presume no mounts yet?

G2 extended warranty

.
Guimbal has decided to extend the warranty period for all new helicopters from 2 years / 500 hrs to 3 years / 1000 hrs ,whichever occurs first.

Anybody know what the delivery timescale is? If I ordered one today how long would it take to be delivered?

Delivery timescale

.
About the delivery timescale and according to Guimbal, a G2 ordered today in standart configuration will be delivered between march and april of next year.

Sotiras is right saying that the production rate is increasing so the delivery timescale should decreased unless the orders stay as strong as now !

H500, you should not waste time anymore !

Hello 500e,

That's kind of you to look after your brother H500

I answered by PM.

The warranty is still parts only but as the operators feedbacks about reliability are very good and for this reason the backlog is increasing quickly as well as the delivery time, H500 should not wait too long if he wants his customers flying the G2 next year.

Hello Peter,

You would prefer the opposite ?!

Two solutions : the cockpit is quite spacious or ... it's a Hobbits' crew !

And compared to the elegant Cabri, the R22 looks like a Dalek!

Whoosh!

(Although, that's probably a bit harsh on HeliHenri. Do you have Dr Who en Francais?)

Well spotted Dr Who fans.

Excuses-Henri. C'était une blague au sujet de la série télévisée "Dr Who".

I love the Cabri and look forward to owning one.

Well done gentlemen !

There is indeed Dr Who in France but I don't follow him so I asked one of my best friend who is specialist (easy for him, his wife is English and was afraid of Daleks when she was young) and I've got the point now : the TARDIS ! (without high-absorption stroking-seats)
