Is that firefighting or cloud seeding?
ever heard of evaporation?

Imabell,

Is that the NAH 2001 accident?
I think I recognise the photo. Do you know how to get hold of H.? I would like to chat with him.

Cheers Mate

Neville,

Brilliant shots mate, well done. A real shame that they are going.

Cheers

206 fixed floats

Has anybody got a pic of a 206b on fixed floats, preferably from the side on?

Magnificent work Autorotate! Thanks for posting. Makes this former Huey pilot tear up a bit....any chance we will see more in print in the near future?

Autorotate: I've got a question about the 4th and 5th pictures down from the top. On my monitor, the sky looks a very deep blue. Did you use a polarizing filter? Or play with it in Photoshop? Or is it just that my monitor's color balance is off?

OFBSLF - No polarizing filter. These were taken about 4pm in the afternoon and colours are always richer earlier in the morning or later in the day. Some are brighter than others as we had cloud cover coming and going all day.

Regards

Autorotate.

These are the only ones that I could find. Taken in Iqaluit, Canada. There are a few more in my collection, I'll see what I can do...

These are not my photos, although I do have a few hours on AJR.

Thanks CR. I've got about 1000 hours on "bags" and do ya think I can find a pic of just one heli on fixed floats. They were great. You can literally land anywhere on anything...as long as you had a patch kit and a set of the proper sized spanners.

Thanks again.

Arrow July Calendar

Colourful Bell 407 in Mexico.

Another fine production by our multi-talented Carlos/BlenderPilot who this month not only created the calendar but also took the photograph.

This link might overload - hope to have another one up and running later today.

Arrow

Talking of "bags", I got these baggers departing Culdrose yesterday: 30 minutes after I gave up & went for a cream tea, the Mighty Merlin finally got airborne, but it didn't run over Gweek for me to get a photo

Wonderful picture - thanks Blender!

Whirly it didn't work for me earlier, but does now, so might be worth another try.
