Judging by the lighting on the side of the heli, it was probably Mr Photoshop...

It has to be a fake! Look at the trees ... they aren't even bending ... and where are the pitot tube and skid tips? There's no shadow on the rocks!

Woo-hoo! Here we go again!

Actually, being an occasional Photoshop driver ... the trailing edge of the tail looks a bit too crisp, but the rotor blur captures the background appropriately. Who knows?

It's a beautiful picture.

I'm not sure you can judge by the lighting. The photo is almost certainly taken in bright sunshine, with the sun coming through haze.

eg I took the first of these pics while waiting for sunset on Table Mountain while it was still very sunny.
Into sun

I've forgotten how much later this one was taken, but it was quite some time as you can tell by the position of the sun.

Hi Alan,
Is that G-NOIR in one of the photo's?
From my old office window I've watched that machine land many a time on the helipad at the Hatfield Business Park
Cheers

Photo in post #3081 a fake. We all knew that. No exhaust plume in the shot!

Nice Image though!

Hi Alan,

Really great photos, thanks for sharing them.

May I ask what heli was used to take the photos?

Best regards
