Bond nonsense

How about the MD variant (which one escapes me) falling out the back of the transport aircraft and starting up whilst in freefall

I just noticed this the other day, if you look closely at the formation flight with blue thunder and the jetranger, both actors are actually sitting in the back of the 206, pretty impressive flying considering where they are sitting hey....
Well, nothing wrong with that, a sensible idea. Everyone knows that it's always the bloke in the front who gets shot. By sitting in the back, the bullets miss the pilot. This is so obvious, really. I'm surprised that some so-called helicopter pilots here didn't know this.

Aircrew always have 2 bullet proof vests. One they wear normally and the other one they sit on in case a stray round comes up through the floor.
My eyes are watering at the thought of that happening. OUCH.

they could start the heli in the airplane could they they didnt have enough rotor clearance
