Helicopter crashes in Co Wicklow
Thursday, 2 August 2007 21:44
A helicopter has crashed this evening outside Newtownmountkennedy in Co Wicklow.
Both the pilot and a passenger are safe but the helicopter has been completely destroyed by fire.
The Air Accident Investigation Unit are at the scene and the gardaí have sealed off the area.
It is understood to have been a British registered helicopter but it is not yet known where it was travelling from.
