Ah, memories! Queen of the skies! Spent 17 happy years flying the ST - but never single pilot. Thanks for that video memory even if it was a bit shaky.

Yes it is almost normal here in Canada, ALL my time on the ST is single pilot and 98% of that time was done on the left seat doing vertical reference work. Got to get use to it though, pretty wide cockpit. The 2% left, was for a ferry flight here and there to get on the job, like it better on the right seat anyway.

I am probably one of the rare pilot with an B214ST endorsement on his license that specifies "BHST Single Pilot left seat"

Waay easier than trying to land on the ground under the wires with overgrown brush around the helipad



And the added bonus of the linemen not having to get all hot and sweaty climbing to the top
