Unless he has some sort of smart system, tracking the zig-zags and spray on-off's he was not working from 3:35 onwards.

I don't doubt his ability but I doubt it is necessary to fly under the wires for fun or should I say for the camera. There was another thread where gurus went about flying for the camera. This is the same example just on a different area of work.

I did a lot of low level work and I find it healthy to climb to a safe height when finishing the job. And if I do something stupid, I won't go sharing it so some youngsters will think its fine and acceptable.

Did you not see the Ag-Nav system in the aircraft?

Although not turned on as I was not spraying you can see the light bar up on the glare shield. And the res of the system by the pax seat. And yes it tracks extremely accurately.

Video request

Hi all.

I downloaded a video 3-4 years back, from a website containing a lot of helicopter videos. Don't remember the website anymore. All videos were for downloading.

Anyways, the video I'm looking for is of a Schweizer 300 / Hughes 269 flying low level in San Francisco in the 60's or 70's.

Does anyone have this video on their harddrive, or maybe a link to the video online.
I've tried searching google/youtube with no success.

Thanks!

It doesn't get much better than this! Igor Sikorsky would have been proud of this guy.

I recommend full HD and the vids will take almost 20' (it took us more than 20 hrs) Due to music content the video is not available to view in Germany.

Thanks for share it Phoinix, I really enjoyed seeing it.
These videos are a good example for those who want to know how fit the Ipad and the Ipad mini (or maybe the Macpro) in the cockpit too

Thank you.

Those gadgets came really handy in trip and flight planning. The part that is not seen in the video is countless briefings, weather checks, alternation options and preflight route planning. Germany was really a weather b*tch and the thank goes to Bundes Polizei colleagues and their advices.

This trip was really a team effort.
