Final Approach Swansea Airport
Bridgend - South Wales
Fortunecity is unreliable.
Sometimes the pics display, sometimes they don't.
You might want to try using Photobucket.

Easy one first.
A lot harder. Where is this little teaser then??
No dashboard instruments or GPS to assist, but where is this?
Finally no GPS screen but a clear cut marker with some places to avoid as well [perhaps]
And next week, "name that helipad"
NB XT244 thanks for the explanation. I was worried that this was a last photo but I see now that the Tpr is selected \'off\'.

This is the best post in a while on Rotorheads. I love "dashboard" (isn't that an automobile term? ) shots more than almost anything - I love to see those gauges!
Many of the shots emphasize the great view out of Robinson products (yes I have read all of the Lu posts).

We're having a busy and varied week: this morning was an organ transplant ferry (in the 117) into The Alfred hospital, Melbourne's major trauma centre: worth the O'crack sparrow phone call

Redeye Picture Guesses
XT244 "it looks like scotland to me"
- Nope, miles out (several hundred in fact).
Next estimate?
Lightning_Boy "Looks like the Breacon Beacons to me, I could almost see my house!!!"
- Fraid not, slightly less miles out than XT244.
Clue, all UK.
1. There is a tower in the 1 o'clock position as viewed and a parachuting site in the 6 o'clock (behind).
2. Windfarms left and right range 6 to 10 nm and a lone NDB 3 o'clock as viewed range 17 miles
3. Give you this one, its North Norfolk (there very few clues but the hill was the googly),
4. Upper airspace radar station at around 2600ft amsl 5 o'clock and did I mention the thing to be avoided in front in the original clue?
Want to have anothger shot at the other three?

Finals to The Alfred:
Dear John (E),
Please excuse my asking but the approach seems very shallow and I am interested to know why, is it safety etc ? and what the approach profile should be.
FYI, I am only asking out of interest and I am certainly not experienced enough to even think about making an approach to a pad like that.
Thanks very much,
John
