CHC
Are you sure mate? CHC is one of the world’s largest helicopter services company specializing in: Transportation to offshore oil and gas platforms, but in Nigeria? I say no mate. Will they ever have their reliability and safety issues sorted? The NCAA is not the same monetary establishment it used to be and especially now, they are coupled with a regulatory reporting culture. Be advised mate. Cheers

If Evergreen gets into Nigeria....it will not be for the offshore market. They will be looking to tie up on US Guvmint funded contracts with the Nigerian Military. Not that they will be there for the stated purpose....just saying.

Bristow, the caring, sharing company is having a Yuletide party for all employees. It will be a sumptuous affair in the delightful setting of a car park . It's rumored that the company may spend as much as $2 per employee on a luxury spread including meat pies, Star beer and a dazzling array of festive minerals and Malta drinks
I wonder if any of the toppest levels of management will pause to consider the differences between this and the $5,000 a head the company has spent on their jolly, festive binge at one of the top hotels in Lagos guzzling champagne and rib-eyed steak while learning how to save the company money by cutting back on perks for junior employees. I'm sure they were all asked to sign a training bond before doing such a valuable course
It's so good to know that nearly all the people on the course were nationals who at last are being empowered in the 21st century Bristow which is an equal opportunity employer, unlike the awful bogey man Caverton which is a nasty Nigerian company and only interested in stealing everyone and everything from open, honest companies with integrity and a history of fairness to all. I wonder which one pays more

The more things change...the more they stay the same.
One management meal in the Blue Dog would more than pay for the Christmas party in Nigeria. (Well almost....but you get my point!)
I used to work for an outfit that supplied Perrier Water for the Corporate Office staff.....but required the saw mill workers to buy their own Coca Cola's at lunch time.
When I pointed that out to the owner....he
They are no longer in business.
They forgot who "made" the money....as they lavished perks on those who "spen"t the money.

Zenon keep advertising for pilots in Nigeria - probably on behalf of Caverton. Why not try looking at the pilot employment websites?

Everett, Bristow, Caverton, CHC and others.
Depends on your license and hours etc.
Do a trawl through the search function for hours/ratings etc that will make your life easier.

Nigerian helicopter companies in Lagos
Hi Guys,
I have just been offered an AW139 engineering position in Lagos with a Nigerian Helicopter company. I just wanted to get some honest feedback on what nigerian helicoper companies are like, how they treat their employees, do they pay on time, whats the accomodation like - Shell compound???? etc....
Any genuine input is greatly appreciated .

Our recent experience is that some people on management positions have
no clue about maintenance environment necessary to keep any helicopter
in flyable conditions.... (AW types included)

Stace left Nigeria a long time before the Nigerian helicopter company which is going to operate AW139s came into being (unless you've been offered a job by Aerocontractors which has now severed its ties with CHC and is a totally Nigerian company.
Ask any of the Heli Union employees who are operating the Caverton contract with Total what they think of the Caverton attitude to European operating rules.
At the moment they are employing many former Schreiner/Aerocontractors pilots and engineers because the guy managing the Shell 139 project for Caverton is a former Aerocontractors operations manager and operations director of Schreiner at the time it was taken over by CHC.
Always remember what Jean-Paul Sartre said:
