In a personal conversation with a very reliable source with firsthand knowledge of the tragedy, told me the initial attempt to locate the wreckage by use of an ROV resulted In the loss of the ROV worth just over a Million US Dollars

The Operator tried to make an effort to recover the wreckage but was unsuccessful.

Were there ever EC135s operating in Nigeria prior to this contract? Would many nationals have time on type, or enough time on type, for the client for this contract?

Block 18 (converted container style room with shower basin and toilet) is the same as before but recently been moved to block 12. More space, decent enough room with all you need. Rooms are quieter, 32" smart tv, fridge, desk and cupboards. What more is needed 🙄🤔🙂👍🏼

Same here. Used to have it on the wall above the toilet cistern, now it's with the things I keep in the attic "just in case" which will never be needed.

To be fair, Bristow (Akin Oni in particular) were outstanding during my cancer years. Barrie Shepherd was the intermediary while I was hospitalised (2 years in total), and Akin even turned up at my front door soaking wet with an inside out umbrella to assure me he had my back.

Nigeria however............. that's another story
