I once spent 3 hours in a small confined space with Kylie Minogue.

Families should be limited to only 2 children.

It's not the size of the bait its how you wiggle the worm.

Had a 10min chat with Bill Clinton a couple of years ago.

Quijibo,

As many Rotorheads are prone to point out, this isn't a Wannabees forum. Try a search on commercial training, job prospects etc and you might get a feel for this place. I think that's what the above posters are trying to tell you.

If you haven't had a trial lesson in a helicopter yet, then do get one. If you have, then you don't need to ask the question as you will KNOW whether you want to do it or not! I could write a book on my experiences of my PPL(H); if you have any specific queries, please feel free to PM me but to write about it generally would take tooooo much time. There are many sites on the internet which should help you with your questions.

... and as for the rest of you... very funny keep 'em coming

Cheers

I saw wild orangutans in Borneo.

Blood boils at 63000 ft above sea level at body temperature... don't say that you haven't been warned.

Did also date a blond nymph once, and her mum was game to but it got complicated.

that was to much low level work, and covert ops for me.

OK, it's funny but...you lot are horrible!!!! This poor guy comes on with a serious question, on the only forum on PPRuNe devoted specifically to rotary flying, and what to you do? It may be funny, but it's unfair. You were all wannabes once...or has the consztant noise of the rotors affected your memory as well as your hearing?

However, Quijibo, Whirlygig is right. We don't quite know where to start. You might be better asking on Private Flying, which is actually inhabited by a few people who fly things with whirly wings - and even some of us who absolutely fly anything we can get hold of.

But to attempt to answer your question, you're about to have the most fun you can have with your clothes on, and also embarking on the quickest route to bankruptcy there is.

Now, what else would you like to know...if you haven't already gone running yelling and screaming from the horrible cynical lot who post regularly on this forum.

Ok/ok you are right

Quijibo if you want do it. Go ahead and do it however be prepared to spend in excess of £106k plus if you want to go all the way to commercial and IR also be prepared for a few knocks and be prepered to meet a few unsavery people but if you want to do it.

it can be rewarding it is definately a great job. it can in some posts be well paid. but it takes time. but do it if only to say that you have tried.

If you want more info please feel free to PM me

Sincerely

Andy
