Cool

Beer is very, very, very serious.....

On the bright side, every Dane loves Germany ( we buy all our danish beer there for 20-25% less ).

Why would you do that rotordk? Why would you want to buy danish beer once you arrive in Germany and can have some real beer?

For the others... yes, it's true. Those danish folks arrive in Flensburg (close to the danish border) and take home all our beer in trucks. Now that's alarming... We Germans are running out of beer...

On the matter of Mix of correspondents, it's worth browsing through the Who's Who thread some time. We have an amazing cross-section of members who do a wide variety of different types of flying all over the world. It makes interesting reading.

Here on Rotorheads we seem to get a fine group of people and ladies,
People AND ladies! And all these years, for ages and ages and ages, I'd been under the strange illusion that despite being a lady - well, female anyway - I was a person too!!!

Whirlybird... this is no time to burn your bra babe

Maybe the original post was paying you a compliment, instead of tarring you with the same brush as us "People". After all you ladies would never stoop to such depths as posting juvenile humour on these threads, maintain your standards, and rise above us all

Alternatively.. do your worst

Matelot,

Paying me a compliment? On Rotorheads!!!!! Well, a nice thought anyway; perhaps I'll take it that way.

As for burning my bra, there are those of us of a certain...er...shape, who always thought that bras were very liberating, and wouldn't dream of burning them.

@ Loose Nut:

Well, "Spunk" would be the name of my favorite licorice (and I have to admit that it is danish (at least I think so)).
The german translation would be.... argh... one moment...I have to look it up....

Spunk: der Feuerschwamm or Courage... now what the hell is a "Feuerschwamm"

Hold on to your Jewels LOOSE NUT...

You know, as a kid it _always_ used to crack me up when I was watching an American film and someone would say something like: "I like a gal that's full of spunk!!"

Now I'm older and wiser, it only occasionally cracks me up.

Thumbs up Defination of "Spunk"

No offense intended, but in the U.S. I've heard "spunk" defined as that substance derived from flagellating the perky chicken (if you know what I mean).

have you reached a verdict on your posted topic ?

Spunk
just needed to know as the wife might look over my shoulder and see your post and start wondering why I spend so much time on this forum (and the FOC forum Matelot). I wont eat licorice ever again, sounds worse than red bull.
