Flight Training Transfer-diploma from USA -nostrification in Europe
I am a Polish citizen and am presently enrolled in flight training in USA.
Upon graduation, I will have approximately 250 hours of flight time and the following
certificates and ratings:
PRIVATE PILOT
INSTRUMENT RATING
COMMERCIAL PILOT
MULTI-ENGINE RATING
In addition I may also have the following:
CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (CFI)
CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR-INSTRUMENT (CFI-I)
CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR-MULTI-ENGINE (CFM)
I have been led to believe that I may not be able to work in the United States and will have to return to Europe for employment.
My question is how much of this training and experience will be transferable to Europe?-
. I understand that the ratings would not allow me to immediately be
employed in Europe, but I am hoping that the level of training and experience will at
least be of value and can be transferred. Does anybody know how to nostrificate a diploma from the USA to Europe?
Please advise me as to what I may expect after I finish school in USA and back to Europe what are costs, and what is the time necessary to nostrificate- transform all papers into Europe..

You can convert everything, but it won't be cheap or easy. It'll take 6-12 months just for the exams, then about 30 hours of flight training. By the time you have converted, you will have flown at least 300 hours. That's 100 MORE than required for an EASA licence.
What you are proposing only makes sense if you intend to stay in the US and teach, it definitely is not the quickest or cheapest way into an airliner. If you want to be an airline pilot in Europe, you can do it for half what you plan to spend.

Are you doing your flight training in a US college/university flight program ? You mention a "diploma" and how to " nostrificate" it (I learned a new word...had to look it up).
If it's an academic diploma/degree from a university, is there a service where you're going in Europe that can determine if your US degree is deemed the equivalent of the local college degree ?
I know that foreign nationals coming to the US with non-US degrees submit their credentials to a service that makes a determination of equivalency which is then accepted by an employer. It might work the other direction ?
