Flight deck cabin crew briefing & passwords
Until I saw this thread

I had assumed all airlines mandated that flight crew give the cabin crew a briefing prior to flight. One response mentions its a JAR ops requirement for the entire crew to discuss a safety related item prior to flight. Anyone know if this is the case... where I can find a link?
Similar issue does your airline use flt deck access pass words / phrases ...whats the funniest one you have ever used.

Its general knowledge that passwords are used.... on the aircraft I fly 190 people see this process happen on most sectors. No company uses the same password...defeats the object. There is a choice of over a million.... using something topical and genuinely funny can be an ice breaker with some frosty crew.
