Any source on the 18/24? I got more than that yet I'm still waiting to progress. Been over a week so already mentally moved on.

where did you get the information for the cut off of 18/24 of progression to the next stage?

But id say if you're still 'under review' then just wait it out.

Oh boy that Arctic Shores assessment well and truly humbled me.
I’ve made it through to assessment days in the past but I would be amazed if I got through to the numerical/verbal reasoning section for this scheme. Got comfortably below 18 combined here.
I know it’s not confirmed but 18 does sound like a fair enough number where you can cut plenty of people off whilst still having a healthy number of remaining applicants.

So my scores (or scales) that I shared yesterday were good enough to progress to the next stage. Interestingly, the email says it is for a numerical and verbal reasoning test. The guidance doc on the Jet2 website said there would be a physics test and an Attention to detail test. Haven't opened the link so all four might be there.
So money well spent then. 4 days to complete these new assessments.

I scored 18/24 on the Arctic Shore tests on the 14th. I was assigned to Stage 3 on the candidate portal and then moved back to Stage 2, yet I have not received a mail from J2 since the original test. I can imagine that they're making their way through a lot of people and it's probably not simply a x out of 24. Each section may hold slightly more or less weight with it being more relevant to the role etc.
Like all of these, it is a guessing game unless you are in the recruitment team.

Jet2 Q&A summary.
To summarise the Q&A for people who were unable to attend:
Jet2 are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about aviation. They also heavily emphasised having strong customer service skills and having the ability to build rapport with colleagues.
What is being assessed in the cognitive assessment?
Jet2 are looking for potential, and people with reasonable numerical skills.
Does holding a PPL exclude me?
No, however you can't apply if you've sat CAA ATPL exams within the last 19 months due to CAA rules on time limits. You follow the same syllabus as people who have no previous experience.
Does having previously applied to other programmes (eg BA's Speedbird programme) exclude me?
No, it is independent of any other applications to other programmes.
When do courses start?
Courses start in September through to February depending on candidate availability (notice period etc) and assigned ATO.
Is there a post-training bond?
Yes, it is 5 years. If you leave earlier, you pay back your training on a pro-rata basis.
What is paid for during the programme?
Class 1 medical, accommodation, travel to overseas training facilities, references/vetting (DBS etc), and food are all paid for. Note that for ATOs that don't have a canteen, a living allowance of approximately £100 per week is provided.
What's the roster like?
Summer is pretty busy, with lots of flights. Winter is less busy, but you'll still be flying. Jet2 operate a variable roster, meaning that one week you may work 3 days, the next week you may work 6 days, for example.
Other things to note:
Jet2 emphasised that the motivational statement is looked at throughout the stages, so they said to make sure it's natural and authentic, and to stay clear of using AI etc to write it.
Jet2 handle applications in batches, so don't be alarmed if you don't hear anything back after applying. They recommend checking e-mails regularly, including spam.
Jet2 also, as part of the programme, include Discovery360, where they show you other parts of the business (operations, maintenance, etc) to show you how their airline is run and how it works. This takes 2 to 3 weeks.

I don’t understand how they are working it at all (unless they are working in batches!) you’ve got people still stuck on application under review and not been sent the first tests (if they aren’t getting them, they should close off their applications so they are aware and not living in hope!)and then you’ve got people who did the first test but then are still waiting for the second test invite (this is where I am, and I scored more than 16 on the first lot!) - there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the delays or process!

Yea, they say they are doing it in batches but how are they batching them? Did the Arctic tests on the 16th and got 22/24 (if that's how they are scoring it) yet I haven't heard anything since. Mainly people applied before then and also haven't heard anything. Whereas some people are just seemingly going straight through. Perplexing to be this side of the process.

the only thing I can think is that it’s completely randomised batches and not based on dates of tests take or scores (as long as thresholds were met on that side of things) - definitely infuriating playing this waiting game. Either that or we’ve not got through even though we scored above sone of the lower scores who have passed through and maybe that’s been based on the personal statement in the application. Who knows at this point!
