Not sure exactly how many get through stage 1, but last year they had cut 20k down to around 800 after the AON assessments. Pretty crazy cut but it makes sense as they only have so many spaces available at the in-person assessment centres.

My video didn’t upload at all and I have followed up this week but still not received anything. Getting quite worried about it - should I try another email? I just tried the tech issue email and am surprised they haven’t got back yet. But hoping it’s because they have a lot to go through. Does anyone have any ideas or similar experiences?

“Thank you for your continued interest and for your patience while we work through the next stages of the recruitment process.
We are currently receiving a high volume of queries regarding timelines and next steps. We kindly ask that you please bear with us while we progress applications.
Please note: if you have not received a rejection email, this means you are still being considered and remain in the process. We will be in touch shortly with details of the next steps.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding”
is it too soon to be hopeful of passing the interview? I’m sure a rejection could still come. Aaahhh!

As far as I am aware, as indicated by BA Stage 2 involves a group assessment, interview, and AON/Cut-E aptitude tests only (which I believe are normally inductive & deductive reasoning and logic tests rather than physics tests).

I’ve had no emails at all since submitting my application, not even an email confirming my submission!
Thanks in advance and good luck everyone!

Which test? Do AON do a physics test as part of their aptitude bundle, or are you suggesting there is a separate physics test?

Be very wary of info you get from PASS or any other airline assessment prep websites, they don’t really have any inside info and most of it looks to be AI generated.
They are useful for practicing for AON and that’s about it.
These are the actual stages AFAIK:
Stage 1:
SJT/Maths/Detail Checking
Listening
Video Interview
Stage 2:
Online AON testing
Waterside Assessment Centre
—Eagle Test
—Handling Test
—Group Exercise
Online Flight School Interview
Stage 3:
Final BA Assessment Day
—Speedy Interviews
—Pilot Competency Assessment
—Handling Test (again)
—Possibly Another Group Exercise?
—Reflective Interview

The person who did the selection process video has just made another one going into detail about the pros and cons of the scheme - I found it really helpful and a few things in there I didn't realise! I wasn't aware we could be placed with Euroflyer and not even based at LHR...wanted to share that!
Hopefully it helps those that are already in the selection process this year
