Type rating - difference course

Dear friends

I have a simple question regarding type ratings, that involves different variants.

Is it possible to get a common 757/767 type rating at the initial issuance, or is one required to do a number of flight hours on ie. the 757 before proceding to the 767.

Does the JAA FCL prescribe anything?

Brgds

no I don't think so, the type rating (757&767) endorsment authorizes you to fly both aircrafts because cockpit and systems are the same(with some minor defferences).
there is no upgrade if you have the 757/767, unlike the 320/330/340 where we need 2 days course with 4 hours sim.
