What do you mean "Airline Sponsorship Scheme"? They don't exist in the UK! As for the degree If you think it is a degree you are interested in will give you good job prospects afterwards then do it, but if you are just doing it in order to give yourself a better chance to get into an FTO then i would advise against it. Do a degree that you will enjoy whether that be an aviation related degree or other.

Josh,
I think you really need to ask yourself what you want to do?!?
You are going on about an 'Honours degree in pilot studies' to get on an 'Airline sponsorship scheme' in this thread.
Then you go on about doing an architecture degree at uni after a games develpment HND in another thread.
You tell us how you'd rather die in a plane crash here.
And ask if you can switch on your iPod and relax after takeoff when you become a pilot.
We've also seen how you respect line captains here, when they give you an answer to a question you tell him to go F**k himself?
You tell us one minute your going modular then you tell us Integrated?
Just what are your plans son?

PM from JustJoshing..
Go **** yourself you stupid ****.
Oh and by the way i have started my PPL and my instructor says i
have on of the best mathimatical minds he as seen when it comes
to mental arithmitic, so it looks like i will achivee my goal one
day
Listen mate, I'm just a humble wannabe like yourself so I am not in any sort of position to judge your suitability for an airline/flying career. On a personal level though, I think your just a jumped up little kid that really really needs to sort their attitude out. Alpha has just noted what a lot of us have been thinking since reading your numerous posts... why do you do it Josh?? You ask a question, then if someone does not give the reply that you are looking for you resort to verbally abusing them! Just have a long sit down and think (preferably on the M6) about if your really cut out for any sort of professional career, let alone one where your ability to co-operate and take advice may well save lives. Your instructor may well be impressed with your genius like mind
but, as I understand it, there is a little bit more to airline flying than mental arithmetic!
Good luck fella, and I really mean that.

The phrase "don't feed the troll" instantly springs to mind
Having just read through the threads to which AlphaMale linked above, I can't believe that Mr Joshing hasn't been banished from PPrune yet!

Little green men at Mach 2.5 did cheer my night up no end so I'll let him off with that one.
But yehh quite right, if he can't take to be told and that means he's never going to learn.
I still like his last comment he made to me, something about becoming a farmer and living in a shed in the hills of Wales?
