A bit of thread drift here but as so many seem to remember the "old" days does anyone remember John Kilburn? Flew with the White Rose Group at Sherburn 1966-7. My father wondered if he was still around as he lost touch in the 70s.
Have already posted in another forum but just thought it was worth a try.

Ah, I seem to remeber she lived in Harrogate? I may have that wrong, but i'm sure she mentioned it. Is she still flying/instructing?

Yes she did live in Harrogate, but as i say, she sold up and went east, i think she still flies out of Northcoates, i will hopefully see her in the spring when i fly there.

This thread is going back a bit now, but I was just wondering what John Cross is up to these days, or even if he is still with us? I recall the latter years of his time at Sherburn Aero Club up until his stroke in 2006 but nobody at the airfield seems to know much about him these days?
