I speak to John on a regular basis. He is in good shape and flies on a NPPL at the moment. He had a stroke in 2006 and lost his class one and his commercial licence so had to stand down from instructing. This thread is going back a bit now, but I was just wondering what John Cross is up to these days, or even if he is still with us? I recall the latter years of his time at Sherburn Aero Club up until his stroke in 2006 but nobody at the airfield seems to know much about him these days?
