Do a check from YAWS for weather at EGHH and you will get this "ATIS [phone]" with the current TAF/METAR!

So there you go - you have no need to ever lose it again!

Feedback on the usefulness of DA would be helpful.

Just taken from your website:

EGSS 210450Z 30006KT 9999 SCT045 09/07 Q1020=

DENSITY ALTITUDE at EGSS: -673 feet : -205 meters.

EGSS must be about -460 feet AGL if your calculation is correct. I think you might want to look at this again.

Thanks for the feedback! The algorithm has been corrected this morning after a pm from another user. I was confusing 'station pressure' with QNH. The results should be more realistic now. But, as always, double check before use.

EGSS 211120Z 31013KT 280V340 9999 FEW040 17/05 Q1022 now puts the density altitude at 500'.

A useful list ...

but it would be helpful to make a distinction bewteen talking to ATC and listening to an Automated Terminal Information Service. For example the Benbeccula number is for ATC.

YAWS trys to keep an up-to-date and meaningful collection of airport numbers but depends on the goodwill of users. There is a page at activitae.com/airbase/phonebin.htm where you can add or update phone links. I would be grateful for any input...
