Hi Sleeve Wing et al,

Mate I haven't even qualified on Flight Sim, just a few laps around the training areas in a Luscombe, Cub & 172 for me.

I'll stick with "mad" though, after all, the guy did strap some rockets and a folding wing on himself and launch off into the wide blue ...

As mad as meat bombers anyway.

Cheers though.

Not Mad - fortunate!

Who wouldn't want to "fly like a bird"?

This guy is brilliant and I for one am envious of his achievement here. Can you visualise what the licensing situation would be if this catches on?

The regulators would have a real problem I think, can you imagine the conversation, it would go something like;

"So you went first solo on your first flight eh? I don't think we've got a licence that covers this one..."

Hope my local flying club buys one then we can all have a go! :-)

Believe me, he is a pretty cool, calculating, exactly working guy. Never loud or crazy and he sticks to the rules at every time. If he would'nt have calculated the risk of this ride, he never would have tried. He was great in flying the Mirage, as well as in flying airliners and his doing this the same way. If you would know him, he would forget everything about the mad.... He is just proofing the limits, that's all and as you can see it works.
