North Weald is holding its 90th Anniversary Fly-in on 20th August, if anyone is interested.

Ok, it is getting confusing now.

How about this;

19th August at Oban

19th August at Tatenhill.

Who says what?

So they will be the dates and places then in the post above.

If anyone is up at Oban, could you have a word with Paul and see if that date is ok?

Also, Whirly, if you can check out the date for your place too, that would be great.

Thanks

Brilliant Whirly, just waiting to hear from Paul at Oban to see if it is ok there.

I have just had a chat with Paul at Oban.

Due to the work going on there and the limited space, it will not be possible to fly-in untill the main runway is opened in September.

19th August is the date, we need an aternative airfield up that way. Over to you.........

19th August is a Saturday, so its unlikely I'll be able to to get an aircraft for such a trip.

However, an alternative airfield in the general vicinity of SW Scotland might be Islay. Went there recently, very welcoming. Excellent brewery on the island, too, for overnight considerations.
