Channel nine pilot Russ Barker was on radio tonight stating the detail of the positions of other aircraft at the time he spotted Mr Holding.
He seemed to be indicating that the police helicopter were ahead of him and further down the valley and Channel Seven were near the hut.
He radioed the police who returned to the area.

A casual listener would conclude that the spy plane flight did nothing to pinpoint Mr Holding's position to his eventual rescuers and he was found by virtue of a small area of airspace being saturated with helicopters!

Who found Tim Holden? Sorry, Holding - Crikey

If he is the "older" guy, he couldn't see past the end of his glasses. I once saw him almost overfly an airport at 200 ft not even knowing it was there.

VH-XXX - I don't know who you are referring to but not Ross.
Ross Barker is one of the nicest blokes you would ever meet and I don't think anyone in the industry would have a bad word about him.
Also an excellent pilot.

Which airport?

I'll look him up to make sure I'm referring to the right guy, not sure how many pilots they have. Will try to find a photo.

Rjtjrt, I would like to formally retract prior comment, I'm referring to another pilot, happy to pm you him name as to not post it here.
