Flog some my way. Would luv a pic of LTB too if you got it. Lost my picture of that plane.... the way its all beat up and still flying keeps me motivated when i climb into the current rig.

Wow! I can remember LTB when it only had 1100 hours on it...
|
Man it must have been fun seeing Dinosaurs roam the earth!
|
Did it have the same red interior at 1,100hrs, like it did at about 18,000hrs??
And what about the grey/white paintjob?? morno |
LTB to be repainted
I could be wrong but Iam lead to beleive that LTB is close to going in for its repaint. Ummmm but then again Ive been wrong before.

Re 7500 the 7500ed thread
hey Jack - word is out that all the 'artistic/photographic' magazines that you and young jethro left behind at the haunted corner are now in good hands....:E ....so to speak ......:ok:
|
Morno, yep, it had red interior back then and sounds like the same paint job too.
:ok: |
jackthelad and anyone else with Airnorth pics,
Guys, it's magnificent to be able to converse with guys of whom all have flown the same aircraft for the same company!!! I miss my NT days with a passion, and am actually planning a trip to Alice, Darwin and Ayers Rock with some lads who I presently work with. I was involved with the good ol' mail runs and as well as the night 'paper/freight' run.. so rego's like LTB, WMP, etc ring a large bell. Based out of Alice for 3.5yrs (first 18mths with Alice Air Charter), I had a fabulous time and the flying really was magnificent. For those who were around when Airnorth Alice Springs was renamed to 'Chartair', and a new logo design was put up for competition, then you'll know whose design was selected, and still used ;) Please send me pics guys and allow me to relive the memories, just as you have and the many after us that will. An overseas jockey, H |

Thanks HB, I just had to wipe tea off the monitor and keyboard So it isn't just OpsN that breaks computers in your house now Pseudo? I'm gonna pay for that comment........ :} |

Would someone care to explain the (possibly embarrassing) story behind the last couple of posts?
|
Pinky, I think that story is best left for OpsNormal... :{
|
Pathie, suggest you ask Bush Mechanics why the TWP rebuild stopped so early on after being commenced if you'd really like to get the story from the source. It is good to see it flying again though. :D |
