Jaba, I remember that, was a great lunch. My first "flyaway" type thing with you guys, I was with FTDK in the "Not so fork tailed doctor killer". From memory, I think the owner of an old J430 broke his alternator or something prior to the day:ok::D.
More from that day: http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/365/planes1u.jpg http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/1086/term108122.jpg http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/4314/term108123.jpg http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/5034/term108143.jpg http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/6372/term108133.jpg |

The dilapidated DH-82 belongs to the guy standing at the non-existant prop. It has been stored for the past 40 years........ Martin |

Those are nice numbers there Morno but at $100 an hour in Avgas only a rich man can afford them!

One of the tidiest panels in a lighty I've seen, just no ABC radio receiver. Talk about information overload. Dr :8 PS: It is kinda cute though - as Retard Vehicles go! |
Thats all right there Old Doc :suspect:
Leave it to us young fellas, I think morno, TKFS, Mav, Jamair and a few others can cope with the workload ;) |
No wonder you got a bit close to that Pitts! all the time reading numbers, and not looking out the window! :}
|
Astonishingly close :E Similar to Vanishingly small :ok:

Were you in Toowoomba the other week? :ouch:
I did follow it up with 4 or 5 pearlers.....so you know what is coming next :uhoh: Its the best bunny hop I have seen in a long while that Beech....of course forkie would say...Built rough and tough. |
Jabba I can give you landing tips if you want? :E

They were lucky that particular Beech had the wheels down, she has been known to experience the odd wheels up now and then!

The one in the video is teh Sierra BE24, retractable etc. Bu I know of the one you refer! She does not always use the runway either....:oh: |
Afternoon delights!
I wish I could take credit for the nice flying....but it was Chimbu Chuck. |
Normally I'd be saying that looked like Victorian weather with those clouds everywhere.

Things are starting to hot up a bit here.
Here's a pic of Yasi from my front door! http://www.fototime.com/B05E82EE496751C/standard.jpg Dr :8 |
