Barraba Fly In
Barraba is near Gunnedah. Every year they have a fly in where a whole bunch of real aeroplanes (Grummans) mix with pretend aeroplanes (non-grummans ).
BUT, the atmosphere is great and there are many many pubs
So come along, first weekend in May.

Hope these are the real Grummans.....i.e. biplanes with R-1340 up front (or R-985 in flat country).....Bearcats, Wildcats and TBM's are okay too.
Surely you are not trying to suggest that shoeboxes with the sliding resealable lid are worthy of the Grumman name!

Id love to go. I would be my first fly in. However from what I remember about Barraba last time I flew there its a bit small isnt it?
Wish I could go but I have school exams to study for instead (you know that HSC thing)
By the way isnt Barabra halfway between Armidale and Narrabri?
