got the bill in the mail today too. Awesome
Oh, they've got front. Half the country's airspace is closed or half capacity and they'll charge you full price.

looks like this has been implemented as of June 12 Cycle. Thanks Dick

It has been changed, did a G1000 RNP approach on the weekend, didn't get asked once to remain OCTA in the world class ATC system.

It’s most definitely not changed yet.

It’s not a question of being asked to remain OCTA, I have sometimes, other times not.
Sometimes you get cleared to enter and leave, sometimes you just get nothing.
I’ve even had last week “track via the RNP remain octa” ah ok. So not a “clearance”
it’s just ambiguous. Literally a lottery each time. And I do it regularly so for years now just to avoid confusion on everyone’s part I just I drive to 2500 straight away from RAKSO and get my regular traffic updates….which is annoying because it requires intervention and not how the current iteration of G1000Nxi or GTNXi will interpret the VNAV transition to approach.

As of 12Jun it’ll be unambiguous.
