I'd suggest you have to be more specific in your thinking regards time - whether a couple of weeks or a couple of months.
If a couple of weeks you may be better off organising a local CPL holder to go along, negotiable a figure $$ per week with expenses paid may be an easier/less stressful experience.
If you want to "slay the CASA beast" for a sense of achievement or looking at a few months of touring maybe you have to face the paperwork music.
Have fun, cheers.

galdian - CASA may live in a strange world, however I do not. No-one ever failed .
topdrop - you are right but I am only approved to assess to level 6 - told you it was a strange world.

How many seats do you need? If by yourself, as suggested there are probably some CPL guys who'd be happy to share some hours once the borders open up. Alternatively, there are plenty of RV owners in Aus who I'm sure will be keen on sharing costs for a blast around the country. Best contact there is many Chapters of the SAAA
You definitely want to use Ozrunways as a source for your EFB flight documents. Works great on an Ipad.
For trip planning, both airstrip info and hotel/transport/local attractions check out Country Airstrips Australia
Best of luck getting sorted with CASA, or more realistically making plans/schedules in these crazy times!

I guess you could probably find a young CPL hopeful to fly you around if you can spare the seat.
They will probably wear gold bars too and make you feel like a privileged passenger too.
I’ve posted on here before for ferry pilots and have had heaps of responses quickly.
