Nicely timed strobe shot!

What's the go with the different window arrangement? The one at the front seems to have a smaller rear window.

Mummy, mummy - look at that cloud.
Can I go and play in that?

Good shot, Jaba.

Someone a few pages back, posted some photos of some pretty slick formation flying. As good as that was, these boys really knew how to do it....

...whilst being shot at!

A great shot of the way things used to be. If it needed to be done, it was done! No fcuking around the edges like we seem to do it these days.

Count the B-17's. How many?

GB!

Yes but in their case staying in close formation multiplied their defensive weight of fire (and chances of survival) by a factor of hundreds - good motivation indeed to not "**** around the edges" and stay in close formation! Very few stragglers over Europe made it home...

Cheers.

How many?
The coffee is still to kick in but I think I see twelve; perhaps the faintest hint of a thirteenth ....?

Thirteen for me. I am sure a panoramic shot would show a lot more!

You know what would have really made Budgie's picture of the B17s? Chemtrails coming off the back of all those planes

There are fifteen there. A couple at the top that you can't see.

Mystery object

This thin silver of metal/foil has been riding around on top of the panel for quite a few years now. I once remembered what it was, but immediately had a seniors moment and haven't been able to figure it since.

Reflection of the diabolical hard to figure mystery object from off the windscreen. Its around 3/4's of an inch long.

Poor image of said object through the screen. It reckon it was a computer thing like a bit off an old hard drive or something similar. Help us out will ya!
