still only completed round 1 of testing (which i found pretty easy) but i get this email today form advize:

We hope this email finds you well.

By way of a general update regarding your application with Tiger Airways we are awaiting feedback from the team at Tiger and anticipate there will be no further progress update until the first week in February.

On behalf of our team thank you for your continued interest.

Kindest Regards,
Samantha
Advize

What the? strange how some have completed all phases and others are in limbo.

Interesting email. I think it may have something to do with Tiger having to do with them waiting until the end of the month to hear if the ACC allows the buy into Tiger

Like I said, they are waiting for the ACCC announcment which is due out on the 31st of Jan..
If they approve the Virgin buyout from SQ then the flood gates will open. If not ??????

A320 sim

Hi TGT

I've used Flight Sim X, with add on Wilco Airbus sim, a joystick and rudder pedals, with very good results , there is also a "ready for pushback" 747-300
that was relevant when Jetstar were using the Q 747 sim for assessments

Good luck

Can some one advise what sim Tiger actually use for asessment? Id be surprised if it was actually the A320, happy to be proven wrong. As has been said before, its more the instrument skills, rate of learning and improvement they are assessing.

Hi there,
To those that have sent me private messages.. I appologise. I have not check this for some time as I have been very busy, so it is best tht I post a general reply.
I did my "final interview" with Tiger before Christmas. they said, they would get back to me within 1-2 weeks. I accept that there is the ACCC issue here, as such I have heard nothing, which is not supprising.
Since then another job has come up that "ticks a lot of boxes" and so I start next month.
Will I ever be offered a job with Tiger? You never know in this game... Never close doors.
Regards
Higs

Thumbs down Make money from Pilots

Anyone else fallen victim to the expensive 'Advise Projects" lately - the Tiger Airways HR Department that pretends to recruit? Be interesting to see how many others pay for screening and actually get through?

Funny how so many applicants seem to fail the psych test with Tiger, yet had no trouble with Qlink / Jetstar......
