So the highest paid FO there gets about 87K plus the CPI yeah?

Thats not too bad for that size jet, but thats after 5 yrs! Most probably make command before then i take it.

You start on $65,210 (just checked the agreement) and receive an increase at the end of each year for the first 4 yrs, and in addition you get CPI.the highest current F/O salary is 81,513. As I said that will increase by CPI each year.

You can live in Perth easily earning 60 odd K a year.

A modest $400k house ( assuming you have 50K deposit ) will cost $2500 month over 30 years, that same house would be about $1500 to rent.
40K net a year is $3300/month, do you like bread and water
Sure you can live on 60k gross, but do you really want to be working 'til your 75 ?

Correct me if I'm wrong, is'nt any new joiner on B scale ? therefore will never see 87K as an effo ? On the bright side, you will eventually see around 108K as a captain

Yes 62k is a crappy salary to begin with but on your anniversary every year (for the first 5 years) it increases by about 5 grand and on July 1 every year it increases by CPI. Last year CPI was 4.2% which added another 3 grand or there abouts.

Sorry Cunning wrong on a few counts.

B scal is for 4 yrs and then they end up on the same as the A scale. It works similar to the skypest years of service.

Captains with 4 yrs of service, thats 4 yrs total, start on 136K. Don't have the 2 and 3 yrs of service numbers with me.

Thats sort of right.
An F/O starts on 65K, each year that rises by 5K and CPI, so at the end of 4 yrs an F/O will be on around 82K + CPI increments for 4 yrs, maybe somewhere aroud 95K as a rough guess?
