Thats a shocker on the part of Air Force Security. Dirty little buggers, makes me hate the vandels even more.
No wonder Christchurch Airport has a truck constantly manned and watching the US-NZ and other Air Force planes that are here. Although I imagine its a hell of a lot harder to jump the fence at NZCH, especially with the Americans here.

so who pays for the paint restoration on the C-17, RAAF or RNZAF??

Being an election on in NZ Helen Clarke might want to keep the money for her hair cut fund

haha

She looks alot like a Wallace And Gromit charater.....

I think the RAAF had to pay for it... even though the RNZAF should have had to pay for it...
(I'll be more than happy If I'm wrong there, and they did pay for it)

Security is not much better hear, bros. How many times have (service) people taken a shortcut over the fence, runway and tarmac at Richmond after a big night out?! Its a long, cold walk from the train station to the accomodation side of the base and its nearly impossible to get a taxi!

Sometimes you make it across, sometimes you don't!

Please put wessex19 on notice for posting that image without a warning! I now have to spend the rest of the day looking for the cat!

I'm OK Buster, really.

I've had all the shots/vaccinations I can have.

Best description I've seen was on a placard the day all the GSE was parked around her aircraft at Tulla about 7 years ago

"the NZ version of "Mad Cows Disease"

tipsy

Jeez, I would have thought a rebuild from the neck up would be better.
