Pinky. You can rest assured the site technical staff have had more than an ear full from the Mods!!! 
I - and other Mods in the UK and US - are experiencing a 20 minute slow down most days at almost excatly 4.00 pm (0600UTC) and have reported that to the site administrators.
Most of the database problems seem to have been solved.
