Hey I am just telling Av8er what to expect when he comes for the job. Those of you still working there should hear what people who have left have to say and not get all angry because you are still there.
I am not who you think I am. Just someone who knows a little bit more about this stuff than you.

Brazman,
Wrong again. I am not there anymore as you have guessed, however know people who left a LONG time ago and also know most of the current crew.
Yes, you are who we think you are, you are trying to put doubt in people's minds because you have suddenly realised they may have some say in your future.
I worked there much longer, on more types, on more contracts. I made mistakes everyday while there, but unlike you, I don't think I know everything about flying. But the one thing I would say is that you know less about "this stuff" than me.

You have failed to respond to the fact that you blew the company up to be fantastic and upset a lot of people who knew differently, only to change alias and go against everything you said originally.

Brazman, I've never even worked at Golden Eagle and I know who you are, and a lot of the exploits you got up to while you were there, .
I also know you're employed by Skippers Aviation in Perth, as an F/O on the Braz. I know all this, and I've never even worked a day of my life in WA, .
Aviation is very very small. If people who haven't even met you in person know all about you, then I'm afraid the word is already out. I think you'll be F/Oing that Braz for a long long time, .
morno

holy cow... people don't even know the dude and they're dissing his career. Hell fellas to put my head on a chopping block, if i had an opportunity to I would have paid the $5500 because hey I've already spend $50k, why not a little extra to get myself out f....'d GA a little quicker. Let me think 5 years in GA working for 10 dodgy companies, or 1 year working for the dodgiet of them all...You make that 5500 back in no time but at what price... who knows.
Hey not saying its right, and hell if you've gone to skippers your probably only part time anyway so what i have written above means sweet FA. No matter what you do or say.. if you dont someone else will so look after No 1.

So, Mr Brazman, you forked out 5 and a half K to get out of a job u were not really skilled to do. Paid an additional several K for another job u may or may not have the skill to perform.
It now seems you're destined to be a career co-pilot with your new employer. How long before u make back the $$$ spent to get thie enviable job (which knowone seems too interested in accept u) If it takes 2 yrs to pay off a bond, you either payed too much for it, or you get paid too little, in which i wouldnt be bragging about it.
Do the captains trust you to use the undercarriage lever or are you restricted to flaps and radios only?

Yeah, its one of those threads that make you think that there must be 'some' amount of truth to what people are saying even if only a small percentage. Surely for everyone to continually be showing varying levels of discontent for the place and certain people linked with it, there must be something to it?

For all the guys who had their new employer contacted by this after resigning, don't worry im sure it has more than been made up by the fact that everyone who was subjected to this has returned the favour by telling everyone they know not to go there for a job. He might even be bright enough (doubt it) to realise the way people were treated is responsible for why there isn't an application on the cp's desk from anyone with more than 200 hours and only 2 or 3 experienced/decent line drivers on the books (decent means less than 100 hours picus required for nev-a-go check to line ). I could have recommended maybe 25 pilots ive met over north east here in the last 12 months, but haven't, and i hope he knows that.
What sort of a twit would honestly believe that people would only ever want to work for a GA operator in a sh*thole for the rest of their life? Does he really think that giving someone a start or their first twin gig deserves a life-long return of service comittment? Every other employer i worked for was realistic and understood that people were eventually going to move on, even though they were disappointed to lose them. To not expect that is quite simply foolish.
In case you missed it, WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND. So many people around the country are glad to see the karma train bearing down with lights ablaze. He must think it says "love thy neighbour as you love yourself, except pilots who are scum and whom you can treat like crap". Out for a few years now, and loving every minute.

I actually enjoyed reading that.
Probably because I worked closely to the Golden Shower blokes when I was in the Kimberley. Every day I was glad I didn't work for them.
It'll be nice to see their aeroplanes parked
